JEREMY SPITERI
Jeremy Spiteri (b.2000) started his artistic studies at the Gozo College Secondary School and continued his training under the guidance of Graham Gurr. Jeremy has recently completed his studies at the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Malta from where he graduated B.A.(Hons.) in History of Art with Fine Arts with first class honours. His final year Fine Arts project, produced under the supervision of Dr Mark Sagona, was exhibited at The Splendid, Valletta in July 2021. He has also exhibited his works in a number of collective exhibitions in Malta and Gozo.

Despite his young age, Spiteri is developing a bold and personal mixed-media language which engages mostly with the landscape of his native Gozo. His art is particularly sensitive to contemporary environmental issues. He works primarily in oil, acrylic, collage and printmaking, many times amalgamating different disciplines.
